Licensing – Version 3.00+
How are NopAdmin Premier and Full licensed?
NopAdmin Premier and Full versions share identical licensing models. With the multi-store implementation of nopCommerce 3.00, we changed the license model to a per-seat basis because the store URL license model of 2.80 and below would not be fair to those managing multi-store sites in 3.00+. Both NopAdmin Premier and Full versions are now licensed on a per-seat basis, which means you can manage ANY nopCommerce 3.00 database, store, or URL with one NopAdmin license. One licensed copy can be installed on a single machine. If you are a developer that manages many stores, you can manage them all with one NopAdmin 3.00 purchase. If you are a development shop with several developers, we will also offer significant discounts on bulk license packs.
I develop my NopCommerce stores on a development/test domain that is different than my production domain. Do I need to buy two copies of NopAdmin?
NopAdmin is licensed on a per-seat basis…so you can manage ANY nopCommerce 3.00 database, store, or URL with one NopAdmin license.
I have more than one developer and/or machine that I need to run NopAdmin on. Do you offer discounts on multiple licenses?

Licensing – Version 2.80 and below
How are NopAdmin Premier, Full, and Import versions licensed?
NopAdmin and NopAdmin Import share identical licensing models. Both are licensed by the domain of the store you wish to manage or upload data to. One licensed copy is required for each domain name. This licensing model adds a layer of protection you by not allowing unlicensed copies of NopAdmin to the full contents of your store even if the correct SQL username and passwords were used to gain access.
When you purchase either NoAdmin you will receive instructions on how to request a license for your store. A license will be generated and sent to you along with instructions on how to activate the license. Once the license is activated you’ll have access to import and manage and unlimited number of records.
I develop my NopCommerce stores on a development/test domain that is different than my production domain. Do I need to buy two copies of NopAdmin?
No – we’ll issue you a license for your development domain so you can use NopAdmin to configure your store in development/test mode. When your store goes live, simply request a license for your production store and we’ll issue you a production license at no charge.
I need to upload and manage more than one store. Do you offer discounts on multiple licenses?

Reseller and Branding Programs
I develop NopCommerce sites for customers and want to provide them with NopAdmin so they can manage their store. Do you have a reseller program?
Yes, we offer a 40% commission fee for every license sold. Please Contact Us so we can get you started as a reseller.
Do you do custom branding so NopAdmin has my company’s logo and colors?
Yes, we offer branding for high-volume resellers or companies with large distributions. Contact Us and talk to us about your specific requirements.
Upgrades
What is your upgrade policy?
Upgrade to the next level within 30 days at no charge
We understand that nopCommerce is a company dedicated to providing a quality product and they have an aggressive development and release road map.
We want to accommodate NopAdmin clients and help them use nopCommerce versions as they are released. Therefore, we allow one upgrade to the next version of NopAdmin within 30 days of the most recent release of NopAdmin at no charge. For example, if you purchase NopAdmin 1.80 and NopCommerce releases version 1.90 27 days later, we’ll issue you a free NopAdmin 1.90 license at no charge.
Upgrades for Half Price
If you are currently using NopAdmin and wish to upgrade to a newer version that is either a.) Outside of the 30 day window of the NopCommerce most recent release or b.) an upgrade that is more than 1 version level, you can upgrade at half of the full price of that NopAdmin version. For example if you are on NopAdmin 2.70 and decide to upgrade to NopAdmin 2.80, you can purchase a license for NopAdmin 2.80 at half of the regular price.
You may also want to consider our 1 Year Upgrade Assurance product, which will allow you to receive free upgrades for one year. Since nopCommerce releases 5-6 versions a year, this can offer significant savings for you. *The 1 Year Upgrade Assurance product must be combined with a new or existing NopAdmin license to be valid.

What platforms does NopAdmin support?
NopAdmin has been tested on Windows XP SP2, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1, and Windows 10.
What do I need to run NopAdmin on my machine?
You need to download and install .Net Framework 4.5, available for download from Microsoft here:

Why doesn’t the rich text editor seem to work right when editing products on my older machine?
The rich text editor runs in the web browser installed on your machine within the NopAdmin framework. Therefore, it’s probably not a function of how old your machine is, rather the browser version that is installed on it. You should upgrade your browser version to at least Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox 3.6 for the rich text editor to work properly.
